I was diagnosed as being bi-polar 2 1/2 years ago. The doctor placed me on
several different combination of medications. Lithubid, Zoloff, Paxil, Welbutrin
and aldactone. He experimented with the Zoloff, Paxil and Welbutrin (one at a
time) in conjunction to the Paxil. I was severely over medicated. It took a
little time until I realized I didn’t like the way I felt on all of the drugs.
By this time, my hair was falling out of my head in clumps because of the
poisonous nature of the lithubid. He then put me on the Aldactone to keep my
hair in, but this caused hair to grow on other parts of my body that did not
need hair! I then asked for something different, preferably natural. He told me
I would be on these drugs for the rest of my life. That was not acceptable. I
had four children, a husband, a job and a house to take care of. A friend had

My name is Tina. I am a Type I Diabetic. I was having difficulties maintaining
my blood glucose levels after being put on Novolog Insulin during the month of
July 2009. The insulin and new eating habits caused me to start gaining weight.
I started taking OPC-3 in August of 2009. Not only did OPC 3
get my blood glucose levels somewhat more regulated but it also helped me to
lose 7 pounds within a 2 month period. I felt more energetic and my moods were
more uplifted. I went for a check up with my Endocrinologist (Diabetes doctor)
during January of 2010 who told me that my Hemoglobin A1C (is a minor component
of hemoglobin to which glucose is bound.) was down the lowest it had been since
July of 2006…that is when I was diagnosed with diabetes. I switched from

energy, mood swings and my weight came back (partially because of poor eating
